In 1961, our agency was established as Hoff and Associates. 22 years later the company was re-incorporated as Liebel and Merle Sales, Inc. Jerry Liebel and Fred Merle managed the agency until Jerry's retirement in the early 1990s, at which time Fred managed the multi-person agency for several more years. Upon Fred's retirement in 2000, Michael Charland became the president and owner of the agency.

Michael Charland has a Master of Science Degree in Manufacturing Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
